In its aim of providing expertise within the safety and sustainability of products containing Nanotechnology, CNBSS has offered to support talented future experts by training them with guest speakers that are currently influencing the world of NanoSustainability in Europe and USA. They will cover topics such as the impact of Nanoparticles on human health (from the cellular level to the physical pathology), as well as their impact on the environment.

Topics

  • Dosimetry and effects of inhaled nanomaterials
  • Hazard assessment of nanoparticles in soils, including exposure assessment
  • Environmental fate and effect of nanomaterials
  • Electrochemical modelling of biomembrane/nanoparticle interactions
  • Fate and global risk of carbon based nanomaterials in the environment
  • Nanoinformatics for nanosafety assessment
  • The Californian initiative on science and innovation: CNSI-CEIN
