Organised by Institut Català de Nanotecnologia (ICN) and Kanagawa Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) NANOJASP 2010 will bring together Spanish and Japanese scientists working in the field of design and application of biosensors and biosystems based on nanomaterials and nanotechnologies. It will share experiences in the recent advances on the use of nanomaterials for the development of cutting edge sensors, biosensors and biosystems. Interesting developments related to the integration of nanomaterials such as nanoparticles, nanotubes, nanofibers, nanochannels etc. into innovative (bio)sensing systems with interest for high sensitive, high selective and cost-effective analysis and monitoring in fields such as medicine, environmental, security and other industries will be presented. The workshop will also address the recent trends in the development of nanomaterials based systems with interest for energy and environmental related industries.

Topics
  • Nanomaterials for (bio)sensing and (bio)systems applications
  • Nanomaterials based biosensors in diagnostics
  • Nanomaterials based biosensors for environmental, safety and security
  • Nanomaterials based biosystems for environmental and energy applications
