On April 20th, Prof Laura M Lechuga, Dr Xavi Martí and Dr Pere Adell i Winkler, participated in the ICN2 Technology Transfer Round Table to discuss about business entrepreneurship in fields like nanomedicine, cosmetics and smart cities.
Hospitals and biomedical related initiatives gathered at ICN2 to discuss about the potential of nanotechnology in the field of biomedicine, with a special emphasis on biosensors. The workshop, organised as part of the Biosensors B30 project, explored the opportunities of establishing shared biosensor projects.
ICREA Research Prof Daniel Maspoch, Group Leader of the ICN2 Supramolecular NanoChemistry & Materials, introduced Dr. Javier García Martínez, director of the Nanotechnology Laboratory at the University of Alacant and cofounder of Rive Technology Inc. (Boston, MA). The event, held on April 15 at the Barcelona City Hall, was the inaugural conference of the NOVUM Program.
